John D. Morrison III, also known as JD, was born and raised on the south side of Chicago and grew up in Third Baptist Church of Chicago, where he developed his musical gift.

His vocational experiences include:

• Serving as Youth Pastor at Antioch Baptist Church located in Tulsa

• Mentoring low-income youth at a local community center

• Program Coordinator of the Tulsa Boys Home, a non-profit residential treatment facility for young men that need placement outside their homes. 

In 2004, JD earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Wichita State University in Wichita, where he was on scholarship for collegiate bowling. He continued his education at Phillips Theological Seminary, earning a Master of Divinity Degree in 2011.

JD is a Chaplin and Captain in the United States Air Force for the 138 Air National Guard. He is married, with two children.

The Morrison family arrived at Fellowship in the summer of 2014 we have enjoyed every moment of it. We love our church and our church family.
